Fans are on the edge of their seats (most of them catching the action in front of the television) as the Yankees take a swing at another much-deserved World-Series title. Few fans are as enthusiastic and dedicated as those in the Big Apple! Thank goodness for televised Time Warner cable coverage.
At this writing, the third game of the playoff match ups is underway, with the 2-0 Yankees ahead of LA’s Angeles, 1-0. At the top of the 3rd, the Angels still have plenty of time to come back and take at least one win. No one wants to walk away from the MLB’s most coveted battle with a big zero on the scoreboard. The Dodgers and Phillies are pairing up to see who gets to go up against the winner of the Yankees/ Angels playoff games for the ultimate World Series win.
With New York's Andy Pettitte and his season 4.16 ERA on the mound and Derek Jeter taking his typical leadership role, New York’s beloved Yankees are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. The Angels might have to make a deal with the devil to take todaay's game from the hard-swinging Yanks.
