Billy Mays, famous OxiClean and Orange Glo spokesman, was found dead in his Florida home this morning. May was 50 years old, and suffered from no known illnesses; an autopsy will be performed to discover actual cause of death. The television personality’s death came just hours after he reportedly survived a ‘close call landing’ on a US Airways flight. Mays’ was a fan of online social networking, and used Twitter to tell his followers that “the tires blew out upon landing. Stuck in the plane on the runway. You can always count on US Air.”
Mays told Fox 13 reporters in Tampa that he suffered from a head injury during the landing. "All of a sudden as we hit, you know, it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping," he told the reporters. "It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head."
