In order to do this, Time Warner Cable has announced a new member of its team. The new Senior Vice President of Technical Operations is now David Flessas, whose duties include managing technical operations of the company. This will facilitate the high-speed telephone and data services delivery. Flessas will report to the Executive Vice President of Technical Operations, Gerald D. Campbell. He will be based in the Herndon, Virginia office. Campbell is very excited about the new member of his staff, and he is optimistic about the outcome of the arrangement.
Campbell said, “David's telecommunications career spans more than 25 years, during which he has developed extensive expertise in multiple network functions that are critical to the deployment of lifeline telephone service and other telecom offerings.” Campbell added, “His experience and insight will benefit Time Warner Cable and our customers.”
David Flessas has a long line of credentials, so he will be well-qualified for the position. His most recent employment was with Sprint, where he has worked since 1983, and where he was the Vice President of Interconnection Solutions. His function there was to oversee Sprint’s VoIP phone service, and he was also involved in many operational functions with consumer and business solutions. Before working at Sprint, David Flessas worked at Wisconsin Bell, Ameritech, and Carolina Telephone. With his educational background, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Marquette University, Flessas is perfectly situated to make advancements and bring experience to his position of Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at Time Warner Cable.
